This piece of art for me is a "feel good piece." The reason I say that is because, spring brings new life, warmer temperatures and increased outdoor activity. And although gardening isn't one of my hobbies but I do putz around out in our yard at home and do my best with whatever green thumb I may have. In this piece, I used a good measure of color and contrast to give some flare. Finally, I added a Goldfinch because of not only its popularity amongst bird watchers but it's beautiful, vibrant color.
