Here's a small update on a colored pencil painting I've been working on. I'm always asked about the process of creating and what a piece looks like as I'm drawing. I rarely show my work until it's completed but I thought a sneak peek would be fun.

Preparing for the duck hunting season a man is tying anchors to his decoys. His new pup, Lucky, jumps in the crate with the decoys. You can read the excitement on Lucky's face hoping one day he will be part of the adventure.

When the piece is completed it will be submitted to Wild Wings Art Publishers.
